Alzheimer’s disease is an unacceptable problem. We need to find effective ways to reduce the risk of developing symptoms, or maybe even prevent it, as quickly as possible. 

The Alzheimer’s Prevention Initiative (API), which is lead by Banner Alzheimer’s Institute, is intended to help do just that.  We believe that the greatest roadblocks to eradicating Alzheimer’s are the current scientific methods, funding mechanisms, and public policies needed to evaluate promising prevention therapies as quickly as possible.
